Where is Simpson, Illinois?
Simpson is found in the eastern part of Johnson County. It sits in a valley near Cedar Creek. This creek flows south into Bay Creek, which is part of the larger Ohio River system.
How to Get There
Illinois Route 147 is the main road that goes through the village.
- If you travel southwest about 9 miles (14 km), you will reach Vienna. Vienna is the main town, or county seat, of Johnson County.
- If you go east about 5 miles (8 km), the road ends at Glendale.
