How Sindia's Population Has Changed
The number of people living in Sindia has changed over many years. This is called demographic evolution. From the mid-1800s until the 1960s, Sindia's population generally grew.
For example, in 1861, about 1,491 people lived there. By 1961, the population had grown to 2,877 people. After that, the population started to decrease. By 2001, it was around 1,971 people. This shows how towns can grow and shrink over time.
