Skanawan is a small town located in Lincoln County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2010, about 391 people lived there. This was a little more than the 354 people who lived there in 2000.

Where is Skanawan?

Skanawan is found in the northeastern part of Lincoln County. It is about 9 miles (14 km) southeast of Tomahawk. It is also about 21 miles (34 km) north of Merrill, which is the main city of the county.

The United States Census Bureau says the town covers a total area of about 36.0 square miles (93.3 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 35.4 square miles (91.8 square kilometers), is land. The rest, about 0.6 square miles (1.5 square kilometers), is water. Water makes up about 1.64% of the town's total area.
