Yuvir Pillay (born July 15, 1989), known as Sketchy Bongo, is a cool music producer, DJ, and songwriter from Durban, South Africa. He has worked with many famous artists like AKA and Shekhinah. Sketchy Bongo is easy to spot because he always wears a ski mask!

He is also the only South African music producer to have his own special feature on MTV Base. Sketchy Bongo and Shekhinah made a hit song called "Let You Know". This song helped him get big record deals with Ultra Music and Sony Music.

Sketchy Bongo's Music Journey

Yuvir Pillay grew up in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. He started making music when he was just 13 years old. At first, he mostly made hip hop music. He was inspired by famous producers like Pharrell Williams and Kanye West. Later, he also started making house music and pop music.
