Stokeley Clevon Goulbourne (born April 18, 1996), known as Ski Mask the Slump God, is an American rapper. He is famous for his unique music style. He also co-founded the hip hop group Members Only in 2014. He often wears colorful durags, which are special head coverings.
He signed with Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records. His first major mixtape, You Will Regret (2017), was very popular. It appeared on the Billboard 200 chart. Songs like "BabyWipe", "Take a Step Back", and "Catch Me Outside" became certified platinum.
His third mixtape, Beware the Book of Eli (2018), reached number 50 on the Billboard 200. His first studio album, Stokeley (2018), was even more successful. It peaked at number six on the chart. Stokeley Clevon Goulbourne was born on April 18, 1996. His hometown is Fort Lauderdale, Florida. His family comes from Jamaica. Growing up, he listened to many artists. These included Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott, and Lil Wayne. His parents often played Jamaican music at home. Stokeley's father was also a rapper. He encouraged his son to write his own rap songs.
In 2013, Stokeley was sent to a youth detention center. There, he met XXXTentacion. They became good friends. After they were released, they often worked on songs together.
Music Career Highlights
Starting Out: 2014–2017
After leaving the detention center, Stokeley formed a rap group called "Very Rare." He released his first song, "Catch Me," on SoundCloud. Later, he helped create Members Only. This was XXXTentacion's music group. They released mixtapes like Members Only Vol. 1 in 2015. This was followed by Members Only, Vol. 2 and Members Only, Vol. 3 in 2017.

On November 30, 2018, Stokeley released his first studio album, Stokeley. This album featured popular songs like "Faucet Failure" and "Nuketown" with Juice Wrld. After Stokeley became a hit, he released one single in 2019, "Carbonated Water." In July 2020, he released "Burn the Hoods" with a music video. He also announced a new album, but it was not released at that time. Stokeley has shared that he plans to release more music for his fans.

Personal Life and Friendships
As of June 2018, Stokeley lives in Atlanta, Georgia. He had a heart condition that required surgery in March 2018.
Close Friends
XXXTentacion
Stokeley was very close friends with XXXTentacion. They met in a youth center in 2013. Stokeley shared that XXXTentacion taught him about different ways to rap while they were there. After they were released, they started making music together. They founded the music group Members Only. In 2017, Stokeley and XXXTentacion went on The Revenge Tour. By late 2017, they began working on their own separate projects.
At the Rolling Loud Miami festival in 2018, Stokeley and XXXTentacion reunited. They confirmed their friendship. On June 18, 2018, XXXTentacion passed away. Stokeley learned the sad news while on Instagram Live. He tearfully told his fans about his friend's death.
Juice Wrld
In early 2018, Stokeley became friends with rapper Juice Wrld. They worked together on the song "Nuketown." This song became Stokeley's highest-charting song on the Billboard Hot 100. They had planned to create a mixtape called Evil Twins, but it was never released. In 2019, they went on the Death Race for Love Tour together.
On December 8, 2019, Juice Wrld died due to health issues. Stokeley was very emotional about the news. He attended Juice Wrld's funeral later that month.

The passing of his two close friends within eighteen months deeply affected Stokeley. After XXXTentacion's death, Stokeley honored him at his concerts. He also met XXXTentacion's son, Gekyume Onfroy. After Juice Wrld's passing, Stokeley continued to honor both friends at events like Rolling Loud.
