Skärblacka is a town in Sweden, located in Norrköping Municipality. In 2010, about 4,059 people lived there. People often call it Blacka for short.
Before 1971, Skärblacka was the main town for its own local government area. It had good facilities like an ice rink, a swimming pool, and a high school.

Voting Trends in Skärblacka
Skärblacka used to be a place where many people supported left-wing political parties. This was because of its history as an industrial town. However, over time, fewer people voted for the Social Democrats, a major left-wing party.
By 2018, more people in Skärblacka voted for right-leaning parties. This was a big change, as just 16 years earlier, left-wing parties had a much larger lead. Unlike some other industrial towns, Skärblacka's population has stayed about the same since the early 1970s.

The main employer in Skärblacka is a paper factory. It is part of a company called BillerudKorsnäs. This factory mostly makes paper used for bags, sacks, and wallpaper.
The factory first opened in 1872. However, most of the current factory buildings were built in the 1960s. Many people who live in Skärblacka also travel to work in Norrköping and Finspång.
