Where is Smoaks Located?
Smoaks is found in the northern part of Colleton County. A major road, U.S. Route 21, goes right through the town. This road connects Smoaks to other cities.
Travel Distances from Smoaks
If you travel north on US 21, you will reach Orangeburg in about 28 miles. Going south for about 31 miles will take you to Yemassee.
The county seat, Walterboro, is about 18 miles southeast. You can get there using US 21 and South Carolina Highway 64. Another road, South Carolina Highway 217, crosses US 21 in the middle of Smoaks. This road leads west to Lodge and east to Interstate 95.
