Solon Springs is a small town in Douglas County, Wisconsin, United States. It's a place where about 910 people lived as of 2010. The main part of the town, called the Village of Solon Springs, is located right inside the larger town area. There's also a smaller community called Sauntry within the town.

Where is Solon Springs?

Solon Springs covers a total area of about 84.5 square miles (218.9 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 83.0 square miles (215.0 square kilometers), is land, and a smaller part is water.

The town is located about 8 miles north of Gordon. It's also about 63 miles west southwest of the city of Ashland and 32 miles southeast of the city of Superior. Solon Springs sits right on the western shore of Upper Saint Croix Lake. This lake is special because it's where the St. Croix River begins!
