Souk Ahras (pronounced Sook Ah-ras) is a special area, like a state or province, in the country of Algeria. It's located in the Aures region and is named after its main city, also called Souk Ahras. This province is right on the border between Algeria and its neighbor, Tunisia.

Souk Ahras is found in the far northeast part of Algeria. It covers a total area of about 4,360 square kilometers.

Souk Ahras shares its borders with several other provinces:
- To the north, it borders the province of El Taref.
- To the east, it touches the country of Tunisia.
- To the west, it borders Guelma and Oum el Bouaghi.
- To the south, it borders Tebessa.
