South Colby is a small place in Kitsap County, Washington, United States. It's called an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a city or town. It doesn't have its own local government like a mayor or city council. Instead, it's managed by the county.
South Colby is located right on Yukon Harbor. It's about 2 miles (3.2 km) west of the Southworth Ferry Dock. From this dock, you can take a ferry boat. The ferry goes to Fauntleroy, which is a neighborhood in West Seattle, part of the big city of Seattle. South Colby is also part of a larger area called the Southworth census-designated place. This is a special area set up by the government for counting people.
