South Congaree is a small town located in Lexington County, South Carolina, in the United States. It is part of the larger Columbia Metropolitan Statistical Area. In 2020, the town had a population of 2,377 people.
South Congaree was officially started, or "incorporated," in 1957. It is led by a mayor and a town council.
