South Hutchinson is a city located in Reno County, Kansas, in the United States. In 2020, about 2,521 people lived there. It is a smaller city just south of Hutchinson.

South Hutchinson was started in 1887. A person named Benjamin Blanchard from Terre Haute, Indiana founded the city. The city got its first post office in August 1887.
