From its start, the creek flows generally towards the north-northeast. It continues this path until it meets the Hyco River. This meeting point is about 3 miles (5 km) east-southeast of Semora, North Carolina. At this point, the creek is about 410 ft (120 m) (125 meters) above sea level.
