South Renovo is a small town, called a borough, in Clinton County, Pennsylvania. It is located right next to the West Branch Susquehanna River, across from the town of Renovo. In 2010, about 439 people lived there.

Long ago, the main business in this area was lumbering, which means cutting down trees for wood. But after most of the big, old trees were cut, this industry slowed down. Today, much of the land around South Renovo is state-owned. This means it's protected as state forests, state parks, and game lands. The whole area is known as the Pennsylvania Wilds.

Where is South Renovo Located?

South Renovo is in the northern part of Clinton County. It sits on the south side of the West Branch Susquehanna River. The town of Renovo is on the north side of the river, directly opposite South Renovo.

The borough covers a total area of about 0.23 square miles (0.60 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, with a small part being water from the river.

Pennsylvania Route 144 runs through South Renovo. This road crosses the river into Renovo. If you drive south on Route 144, it will take you about 34 miles to Snow Shoe and Interstate 80.
