South Woodbridge was a small community in San Joaquin County, California, United States. It was once known as a census-designated place (CDP). A CDP is a special area that the government counts for population, but it's not officially a city or town.

In the year 2000, about 2,825 people lived in South Woodbridge. Later, for the 2010 census, South Woodbridge joined with another area called North Woodbridge. Together, they became one larger community known simply as Woodbridge.
