Spicer is a small city in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota. It is located right on the beautiful Green Lake. In 2020, about 1,112 people lived there.

History of Spicer
Spicer was officially planned out in 1886. It was named after John M. Spicer. He was the person who owned the land where the town was built. A post office has been open in Spicer since 1886, helping people send and receive mail.

Spicer is a small city, covering about 1.15 square miles (3.0 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, with a tiny bit of water.
The main road through Spicer is Minnesota State Highway 23. Another important road, U.S. Route 71, is also very close. These roads help people travel to and from Spicer easily.
