Springdale is a small village community in the central part of the Riverina region. This area is located in the Australian state of New South Wales. Springdale is about 3 kilometres east of Combaning. It is also about 23 kilometres north-west of Stockinbingal. In 2016, about 150 people lived in Springdale.
A Look Back in Time
Springdale has a history tied to its services. The Springdale Post Office first opened its doors on 1 November 1897. It served the community for many years before closing in 1977.
A railway station was also an important part of Springdale. It was on the branch line that went to Lake Cargelligo. The station helped connect the community from 1893 until 1975.
