Springdale is a small, friendly community located in Oregon, USA. It's not a big city, but a quiet place nestled between two towns called Troutdale and Corbett. Springdale's Story: A Look Back
The history of Springdale is quite interesting! In the 1890s, this area had two different names. The eastern part was called Springdale, just like it is today. But the western part was known as Gage.
Gage even had its own post office for a few years, from 1900 to 1903. Eventually, the name Springdale became used for the whole community.
The Historic Springdale School
One of the most important buildings in Springdale is the Springdale School. It's also known as the Springdale Community Center. This building is so special that it's listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This means it's recognized as an important historical site in the United States.
Today, the Springdale Community Center is home to the CAPS program. This program is part of the Corbett School District and helps students learn and grow.
