Springlee is a neighborhood located in St. Matthews, Kentucky, which is part of Louisville, Kentucky. In 2000, about 426 people lived there. Before 2000, Springlee was its own small city in Jefferson County, Kentucky. It officially became a city on April 25, 1950. However, on December 5, 2000, Springlee stopped being a separate city. It then became part of the City of St. Matthews on January 8, 2001.
