History of St. Gerard Church
The Catholic community in Anguilla started a long time ago. In 1948, they built a small chapel. But a big hurricane destroyed this chapel in 1961. After that, the Catholics met at a place called Wallblake House. They gathered there until 1966. That year, the current St. Gerard Church was finished and opened.
