St Barnabas' Church in Bradwell is a Grade II listed building. This means it is a very important historical building. It is a parish church that belongs to the Church of England and is located in Bradwell, Derbyshire.

History of the Church
The church was designed by an architect named C C Townsend. Building work started in 1867. The church was officially opened on 22 October 1868 by Bishop Trower.
A man named Samuel Fox helped pay for the church. He was famous for inventing the Paragon umbrella frame. He gave £100 towards the building costs.
Building the Tower and Spire
The foundation for the church's tower was laid on 3 August 1888. A company called Alfred Hill of Tideswell was chosen to build it. The tower was designed by Naylor and Tait from Derby. The tower and its clock were finished and opened on 15 July 1889. The tall, pointed top part of the church, called the spire, was completed in 1891.

St Barnabas' Church is part of a larger church community, known as a joint parish. It works together with two other churches:

The Church Organ
