Stacyville is a small town in Penobscot County, Maine, United States. It is located near the beautiful Mount Katahdin. In 2020, about 380 people lived there.
Stacyville became famous in 1939 because of a boy named Donn Fendler. He was 12 years old when he got lost on Mount Katahdin. After nine days, he was found safely in Stacyville on July 25, 1939. A searcher named Nelson McMoran found him.
