Standhope Peak is an important part of the Pioneer Mountains. It is the fourth highest peak in this mountain range. When you look at all the mountains in Idaho, Standhope Peak ranks as the 20th highest.
Where is Standhope Peak?
This mountain is found in Custer County, Idaho. It is also part of the large Salmon-Challis National Forest. This forest is a protected area with lots of nature. Standhope Peak is located about 0.75 mi (1.21 km) northeast of a peak known as Peak 11,887. It is also about 1 mi (1.6 km) southwest of another mountain called Altair Peak.
