This area is located in Cumberland County. In 2010, about 469 people lived here. By 2020, the population grew slightly to 480. Standish is part of the larger Portland metropolitan area.
Where is Standish Located?
Standish is found in the state of Maine. It sits where two main roads meet: Maine State Route 25 and Maine State Route 35. Route 25 goes west towards New Hampshire and east towards Gorham and Portland. Route 35 heads north to North Windham and south to Buxton and Hollis.
The community covers an area of about 6.9 square kilometers (or 2.68 square miles). All of this area is land, with no water bodies within the CDP itself.
