Stephen Hogan is an Irish actor who has appeared in movies, television shows, and plays. He is also a talented narrator, which means he reads books aloud for audiobook recordings.

Early Life and Education

Stephen Hogan was born in Dublin, Ireland, in August 1965. His father, Brian Hogan, was a well-known architect, and his grandfather was an important civil servant.

At first, Stephen decided to study architecture at Edinburgh University, just like his father. But after he graduated, he realized it wasn't the right career for him. He then went to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, a famous school for music and drama, to train as an actor.

Acting Career

After finishing drama school in 1992, Hogan got a part in a Scottish TV show called Take the High Road. He later moved to London to find more acting jobs but often returns to Ireland for work and visits.

Hogan has a fun family story. His uncle, Paul Hogan, was involved in a famous prank in 1956 where he and another student took a painting called Summer's Day from the Tate Gallery in London. In 2005, Stephen Hogan got to play his own uncle in a radio play about the event.
