Steven Zuber (born August 17, 1991) is a professional footballer from Switzerland. He plays as a winger for the Swiss Super League club Zürich. He also plays for the Switzerland national team. Steven has been a youth player for Switzerland's national teams too.

Steven Zuber was born in Winterthur, Zürich, Switzerland. His parents are Walter and Susanne Zuber. He has five brothers and sisters: Melanie, Kevin, Severin, David, and Marvin. In 2015, he married his girlfriend, Mirjana Vasović.
Steven's Club Career
Steven Zuber has played for many different football clubs throughout his career. He started in Switzerland and then moved to play in Russia, Germany, and Greece.
Playing for Grasshopper
Steven began his professional career with Grasshopper in Switzerland. His first game was on July 12, 2008. He came into the game as a substitute. A few weeks later, he played his first game in the Swiss Super League.
Playing for CSKA Moscow
In 2013, Steven moved to Russia to play for CSKA Moscow. He signed a five-year contract with the team. He helped CSKA Moscow win the 2013 Russian Super Cup in his very first game.
Playing for Hoffenheim
Steven then moved to Germany in 2014 to join 1899 Hoffenheim. He played there for several years. In 2017, he extended his contract with the club.
Playing for VfB Stuttgart
In 2019, Steven was loaned out to another German club, VfB Stuttgart. He played for them until the end of that season.
Playing for Eintracht Frankfurt
In 2020, Steven joined Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt. He signed a three-year contract with them.
Playing for AEK Athens
In 2021, Steven moved to Greece to play for AEK Athens. He first joined them on a loan deal. After playing well, AEK Athens decided to buy him permanently in 2022. He signed a three-year contract with the club. Steven was a very important player for AEK Athens. He helped them win the Super League Greece title in the 2022–23 season. He scored 8 goals in 28 matches that season.

Steven has also played a big role for the Switzerland national team.
Youth Teams
He was part of the Switzerland Under-17 team in 2007–08. He was also a member of the Switzerland team that played in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Playing for Switzerland's Senior Team
Steven was called up to the main Switzerland team in 2017.
2018 FIFA World Cup
He was chosen to be in Switzerland's squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. He played in the first two group games. He even scored a goal against Brazil, which helped Switzerland get a 1–1 draw. Switzerland made it to the Round of 16 but lost to Sweden.
UEFA Nations League and Euro 2020
In 2019, Steven played in the 2019 UEFA Nations League Finals. Switzerland finished in fourth place. He was also part of Switzerland's team for UEFA Euro 2020. He was very important in Switzerland's win against France in the Round of 16. He gave an assist and helped his team win a penalty. Steven ended the tournament as the player with the most assists, having made 4.
Recent Years
Steven missed the 2022 FIFA World Cup because of an injury. He returned to play one international game in 2023. He was also selected for Switzerland's team for UEFA Euro 2024. Before the main tournament, he scored a great goal from far away in a friendly match against Estonia.
