Stollberg is a town located in the German state of Free State of Saxony. It used to be the main town, or capital, of the Stollberg Rural District. This means it was an important center for the area.
Stollberg is about 20 km (12.4 mi) east of a city called Zwickau. It is also about 17 km (10.6 mi) southwest of another city, Chemnitz.
