The Old School Days
A long time ago, Struck Oil had its own school. It first opened in 1905 as Struck Oil Provisional School. Later, on March 1, 1911, it became Struck Oil State School. The school taught children for many years but eventually closed around 1944. It was located on the south side of Struck Oil Road.
