Stuart A. Varney (born on July 7, 1948) is a well-known British-American television host and political speaker. He works for Fox News and the Fox Business Network. Born in the United Kingdom, he started his career as a journalist. He joined Fox News in 2004 and later became an anchor for Fox Business Network when it began in 2007.

Early Life and Education
Stuart Varney was born in Derby, England. After finishing high school, he spent a year working in Nairobi, Kenya. He then went on to graduate from the London School of Economics, a famous university in London.
Journalism Career
After his studies, Stuart Varney moved to Hong Kong. There, he became a broadcaster for Radio Hong Kong, which means he hosted radio shows. He helped cover different events and even did some voice acting for a short time.
Later, he started his broadcast journalism career in the United States at KEMO-TV in San Francisco. In 1980, he was asked to join CNN, a brand new 24-hour news channel, in Manhattan. At CNN, he hosted several business-focused shows like Business Day, Business Asia, and Moneyline.
In 2001, he left CNN and moved to CNBC. There, he hosted a show called "Wall Street Journal Editorial Board with Stuart Varney."
Joining Fox News and Fox Business Network
Stuart Varney joined the business team at Fox News in January 2004. When the Fox Business Network launched in October 2007, he became one of its main anchors.
He currently co-hosts a show called Varney & Co. on the Fox Business Network. This show airs every weekday morning. He also appears regularly on another Fox Business show called Cashin' In.
Stuart Varney has also appeared on and sometimes guest-hosted "Your World with Neil Cavuto." In 2023, Fox Business announced that he would help lead a debate for political candidates.
