Success is a small town located in Clay County, Arkansas, in the United States. In 2020, about 98 people lived there. The town's name, "Success," has a mysterious origin; no one is quite sure how it got its unique name!

History of Success
Success was founded during a time when railroads and the timber industry were growing fast in northeastern Arkansas. This was in the late 1800s. The town got its own post office in 1895. A few years later, in 1903, Success officially became an incorporated town. This meant it could have its own local government.
Where is Success Located?
Success is in the northwestern part of Clay County. It sits just east of the Little Black River. This river flows into the Current River. The town is located where two roads meet: Arkansas Highway 211 and Arkansas Highway 328. It's northwest of another town called Corning. Success is also very close to the border with Missouri, about 2.7 miles south of the state line.
The United States Census Bureau says that Success covers a total area of about 0.58 square kilometers (0.22 square miles). All of this area is land, with no water.
