Rini Fatimah Zaelani (born August 1, 1980), known as Syahrini, is a famous Indonesian singer and actress. She grew up in Sukabumi and later studied law at Pakuan University in Bogor. Her first music album, My Lovely, was released in 2008. She also sang "Tatapan Cinta" for the movie Coklat Stroberi (Chocolate Strawberry).

Syahrini's Music Career

Syahrini started her music journey with her sister in a group called "Duo Geulis." They sang dangdut music. In 2008, she released her first solo pop album, My Lovely. She worked with well-known songwriters like Dewiq and Yovie Widianto on this album. Two songs from it, "Bohong" (Lies) and "My Lovely," became popular singles. In mid-2009, she released another single called "Pusing Setengah Mati."

Working with Anang Hermansyah

In late 2009, Syahrini met fellow musician Anang Hermansyah on a TV show. They decided to sing together as a duet. They released two popular songs: "Jangan Memilih Aku" (Don't Choose Me) and "Cinta Terakhir" (The Last Love). After their collaboration ended, Syahrini continued her career as a solo singer. In 2010, she recorded her own version of "Aku Tak Biasa" (I'm Not Used To Be), a song by the late Alda Risma.
