Amita Marie "Tata" Young (Thai: อมิตา มารี "ทาทา" ยัง; born 14 December 1980) is a famous Thai singer, actress, and model. She became well-known in Thailand at just 11 years old. This was after she won a big national singing contest.

After her win, she signed a record deal. Her first album, Amita Tata Young, came out in 1995. It sold over one million copies in only five months! Since then, Tata has released many albums. She has made eight studio albums in total, with three in English and five in Thai. Her latest album, Ready for Love, was released in 2009.

Tata has also acted in movies like The Red Bike Story and O-Negative. She even performed "Reach for the Stars" at the opening of the 1998 Asian Games in Bangkok. Her first international song, "Dhoom Dhoom", was a huge hit. It was the English version of a song from the 2004 Bollywood movie Dhoom. This song reached number one in many Asian countries, including India, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Throughout the 2000s, Tata Young was very popular across Asia. She won many awards and was often called "Asia's Queen of Pop." Some even called her the "Britney Spears of Asia."

Tata Young was born Amita Marie Young in Bangkok, Thailand. Her mother is Thai, and her father, Tim Young, is American. She went to Bangkok Patana School.

When she was 11, Tata won her first big talent show. It was called the Nissan Awards Thailand Junior Singing Contest. This win helped her start her amazing music career.

Her first movie role was in 1997. It was a youth drama called 'The Red Bike Story'. In 2011, Tata released a new song called "Let's Play." She helped write this song herself. She performed it live as a comeback performance.
