The Pussycat Dolls (also known as PCD or The Dolls) was a popular American pop and R&B girl group. They were also known for their amazing dance moves. The group was first created by a talented choreographer named Robin Antin.
The group started in 1995 in Los Angeles, California. Back then, they were a dance group that performed in a special style called burlesque. This style combines dance, music, and theater. In 2003, Robin Antin helped them get a record deal with A&M Records and Interscope Records. This is when the Pussycat Dolls officially became a music group.
By 2005, the main members of the group were Nicole Scherzinger (the lead singer), Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, and Carmit Bachar. The group also appeared on reality television shows. They even had a special show in Las Vegas. Robin Antin and the record companies helped them create many other exciting projects.
