Sébastien Lefebvre (born on June 5, 1981) is a musician from Canada. He is most famous as the rhythm guitarist and a singer for the rock band Simple Plan. Besides his work with the band, he has also released his own music and worked with other artists.

Music Career

Sébastien Lefebvre has been making music since 1999. He is a key part of the band Simple Plan. He also creates his own songs and helps other musicians.

Solo Music

In 2007, Sébastien started a music podcast called "Man of the Hour" with Patrick Langlois.

In 2009, Sébastien released his first solo music, an acoustic EP (which is like a mini-album) called You Are Here / Vous Êtes Ici. The first song from it was "I Fall for You". His bandmate, Chuck Comeau, even directed the music video for this song.

Sébastien released another EP called Les Robots in 2011. He gave it away for free! In 2012, he released his third EP, More Sake Por Favor.

Working with Katie Rox

In 2010, Sébastien worked with another Canadian musician named Katie Rox. They released a special EP together called Christmas Etc....

Producing Music

Sébastien also helps other artists make their music. He has produced songs and albums for different singers. For example, he worked on Canadian singer-songwriter Andee's first album, Black and White Heart. A song from that album, "Never Gone," won an award in 2015. He also produced an album for Wilfred Le Bouthillier. Sébastien even produced a cover song for Simple Plan for a tribute album.

Musical Gear

Sébastien uses specific guitars and amplifiers to create his sound. He plays Framus guitars, especially the Mayfield model. For his sound, he uses Mesa Boogie and Framus amplifiers. He also uses special pedals like a modified Boss chorus pedal and T-Rex Replica and Tremster pedals. These help him change the sound of his guitar.
