How Simple Plan Started
The band's story began when Pierre Bouvier and Chuck Comeau were just 13 years old. They were school friends and formed a band called Reset. They even released their first album in 1997.
However, Chuck left Reset for a while to focus on school. But he soon returned to music in 1999. This time, he teamed up with Sébastien Lefebvre and Jeff Stinco to form a new band.
Pierre Bouvier met Chuck at a concert and was invited to join the new group. David Desrosiers, who had taken Pierre's place in Reset, joined them in 2000. That's how Simple Plan was formed!
