Tyler Mathew Carl Williams (born February 25, 1988), known as T-Minus, is a music producer from Canada. He helps create songs for many famous artists in hip hop and R&B. Some of these artists include Drake, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd, Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber, and J. Cole.

T-Minus has worked on many of Drake's songs, starting with "Replacement Girl" in 2007. He also helped make popular songs like "HYFR", "The Motto", "Make Me Proud" (with Nicki Minaj), and "Blem".

He has been part of eight songs or albums that were nominated for a Grammy Award. He even got a nomination for Album of the Year for his work on Kendrick Lamar's album Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City in 2012. In 2012, he won the Top Producer award at the BMI R&B/Hip Hop Awards.

Early Life and Music Beginnings

T-Minus first started making music when he was a student at Pickering High School. He always loved music and used to play the drums. After playing drums for a few years, he wanted to try making his own beats and songs.

When he was 15 years old, he downloaded a computer program called Fruity Loops. This program is a "digital audio workstation," which means it helps you create and mix music on a computer. Soon, he was making full songs using the program.

His Unique Music Style

T-Minus has talked about his music style. He said he likes to take music in new directions. He wants his songs to sound fresh and different. He also mentioned that he gets inspiration from older R&B music from the mid-1990s. He likes when music has a lot of emotion.
