Taurean Yves Jordan (born March 16, 1986) is an American basketball player. She played college basketball for Old Dominion University (ODU). T.J. Jordan was known as one of the best players in her college league, the Colonial Athletic Association. She even set several scoring records at ODU!

Early Life and High School Basketball
T.J. Jordan was born in Denver, Colorado. She grew up in Portsmouth, Virginia. Jordan went to Woodrow Wilson High School. There, she played on the girls' basketball team. She helped her team reach the state championship game for the first time ever. Jordan was named the Virginia High School Coaches' Player of the Year.
College Career at Old Dominion
Jordan played for the Old Dominion University Lady Monarchs from 2004 to 2008. She was a very important player for her team. She was especially good at making three-pointers.
Setting Records and Winning Awards
In 2006, Jordan was named the MVP of the CAA Tournament. She set a new NCAA record in that tournament. She made ten three-pointers in one game against Northeastern University. This was an amazing achievement! Jordan was named the CAA's MVP twice during her college career. Many people saw her as the main player for the Lady Monarchs.
Leading the Lady Monarchs to Success
In her final year (2007-2008), Jordan led her team to the NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Championship. This was their twenty-fifth time in a row! She was the team's top scorer, averaging 13.3 points per game.
The Lady Monarchs won their first game against Liberty University. This was their first tournament win since 2002. Jordan scored fourteen points in their next game. They won in overtime against Virginia. Their journey ended when they played against Connecticut in the Sweet Sixteen.
After College Basketball
After college, T.J. Jordan was considered a player who might be picked in the 2008 WNBA draft. However, she was not chosen. She has also tried out for the United States women's national basketball team.
