Taina is a fun American TV show that aired on Nickelodeon from 2001 to 2002. It's a sitcom, which means it's a funny show about everyday life. The show was created by Maria Perez-Brown.

The first season was filmed at Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando, Florida. Later, for its second season, the show moved to Nickelodeon on Sunset in Hollywood. Even though Taina was very popular and had high ratings, it only lasted for two seasons. It was canceled because making the show became too expensive. You can still find all the episodes uploaded by fans on YouTube.

Story of Taina's Dream

Taina Morales is a young Latina teenager who has big dreams of becoming a famous singer and actress. She goes to the Manhattan High School of the Performing Arts, a special school for talented students.

  • Taina's best friend, Renee Jones, joins her at the school.
  • They also meet Lamar again, a friend they hadn't seen since elementary school.
  • Maritza Hogg, who Taina and Renee knew before high school, is also at the same school. She wants to be a singer and actress too, and she's often Taina's rival.

In every episode, Taina often imagines herself as a huge superstar. She even performs a new song during these daydreams!
