The Takam Kingdom (also known as Nepali: ताकम राज्य or Takam of Bagalyas) was a historical kingdom in what is now Nepal. It was founded by King Kalu Thapa Kshatri from the Bagale Thapa clan. This clan belonged to the Khas community. The Takam Kingdom was also called Bagalyadesh or the 4000 Parvat Kingdom.
This Thapa dynasty ruled for about 300 years, from 1189 CE to 1488 CE. It was eventually conquered by King Dimba Bam of the Samalvanshi Thakuri clan, becoming part of the Chaubise Parbat State.
