Takashi Sugimura facts for kids
Takashi Sugimura (杉村 隆 Sugimura Takashi, April 20, 1926 – September 6, 2020) was a Japanese biochemist. He was known for his research on chemical carcinogens. He received the Japan Prize his research on the causes of cancer. He was elected as President of the Japan Academy on October 15, 2013.
Sugimura died on September 6, 2020 from heart failure in Tokyo at the age of 94.
