Taloga is a small town located in Dewey County, Oklahoma, in the United States. In 2020, about 288 people lived there.

Taloga is the main town, or county seat, of Dewey County. It sits near the southern bank of the Canadian River. The town is also located along U.S. Route 183, which is about 37 miles north of Clinton. The name "Taloga" comes from an Indian language and means either "beautiful valley" or "rocking water."

A large wind farm, called the Taloga Wind project, was built near the town. It started working in March 2012. This project can create up to 130 megawatts of electricity. That's enough power for about 35,000 homes! All the electricity made here is sold to Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company for 20 years.

The Dewey County Courthouse, built in 1925, is an important historical building. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
