Tamara Valerie Smart (born June 14, 2005) is a talented English actress. She became well-known for her first role in the CBBC series The Worst Witch (2017–2020). Since then, she has appeared in many exciting shows and movies. These include Are You Afraid of the Dark? (2019) and the Netflix series Resident Evil (2022). Her films include Artemis Fowl and A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting (both 2020).

Tamara Smart was born in Barnet, a part of North London, England. Her parents are Fiona and Cornelius Smart. From a young age, Tamara loved performing. She took dance classes at Dance Crazy Studios. She also learned acting and singing at Razzamataz Theatre School Barnet. These schools helped her prepare for her acting career.

Starting Out: The Worst Witch
Tamara Smart began her acting career in 2017. Her very first role was playing Enid Nightshade in the popular CBBC series The Worst Witch. This show is about a young witch who goes to a magical school. Tamara played a main character for several years.

In 2018, Tamara had a role as Hailey Hicks in a drama series called Hard Sun. The next year, in 2019, she starred as Louise Fulci. This was in the third revival of the children's spooky story series Are You Afraid of the Dark?.
In 2020, Tamara was chosen to play Juliet Butler in the science fantasy adventure film Artemis Fowl. This movie is based on a popular book series. Also in 2020, Tamara played a big role as Kelly Ferguson. This was in the dark fantasy comedy film A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting.
