Tandara Alves Caixeta (born October 30, 1988) is a famous Brazilian professional volleyball player. She plays for the Brazil women's national volleyball team. Tandara is 1.84 m (6 ft 0 in) tall.
Her father, Evaldo Caixeta, was also a volleyball player. When Tandara was nine years old, she saw a TV ad for volleyball. She decided to try out for the sport. She quickly fell in love with it.

Tandara's Amazing Career
Tandara Caixeta joined the Brazilian national team in 2011. That year, she won a gold medal at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara. This was a big step in her career.
Olympic Success
In 2012, Tandara became an Olympic champion. She won a gold medal with the Brazilian team at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. This was a huge achievement for her and her country. She also won a silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
Breaking Records in Brazil
Tandara is well-known for setting new records in the Brazilian Women's Superliga. This is Brazil's top volleyball league.
- In the 2013-2014 season, she scored 37 points in one match. This was a new record!
- Later, in the 2017-2018 season, she broke her own record. She scored 39 points in a single match.
- She also scored a total of 626 points in that season. This was the highest score ever in the country.
- In the 2019-2020 season, she broke her record again. She scored an incredible 40 points in just four sets. This is the highest score in the history of Brazilian volleyball courts.

Tandara has won many individual awards for her skills.
- In 2017, she was named the "Most Valuable Player" at the 2017 Women's South American Volleyball Championship.
- She also won the "Best Opposite Spiker" award at the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Grand Champions Cup.
- She has been the "Best Scorer" in the Brazilian Superliga multiple times.
- She was also named "Most Valuable Player" in the 2017-2018 Brazilian Superliga.
