Tathagata Mukherjee (born on May 15, 1985) is a talented Indian writer, director, and actor. He is from Kolkata, India. He is well-known for trying new things in Bengali movies. He is also famous for his main roles in many TV shows.

Early Life and Education
Tathagata Mukherjee was born in Kolkata, India. When he was a child, he spent three years performing in traditional Bengali plays called yatra. He worked with a famous Bengali artist named Chapal Bhaduri.
He went to high school at the Baranagore Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama High School. After that, he studied drama at Rabindra Bharati University. He has been working in professional theater since 2005.
Career Highlights
Tathagata Mukherjee started his acting career in movies in 2007. His first film was Laal Ronger Duniya.
Television Roles
In 2008, he began acting on television. His first main role was in a daily soap opera called Sada Patay Kalo Daag. After this, he acted in many TV movies and shows.
