Terrell Antoine Fletcher (born September 14, 1973) is a former American football player. He played as a running back for eight years with the San Diego Chargers in the National Football League (NFL).
Fletcher went to the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He played football for the Wisconsin Badgers. His team won the 1994 Rose Bowl. In 1995, he was named MVP of the Hall of Fame Outback Bowl.
During his time with the Chargers, he ran for 1,871 yards. He also caught passes for 1,943 yards. He led all Chargers running backs in catches for five years in a row. This was from 1996 to 2000. Terrell is the older brother of Bryan Fletcher, who played tight end for the Indianapolis Colts. On November 4, 2001, he caught the first pass ever completed by quarterback Drew Brees.

Early Life and Education
Terrell Fletcher graduated from Hazelwood East High School in Hazelwood, Missouri in 1991. He was the first person in his family to go to college. He earned a bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1998.
Later, in 2003, Fletcher received a master's degree in Religious Studies. He got this from Southern California Seminary. In 2018, he also earned a Doctorate of Transformational Leadership. This degree was from Bakke Graduate University.
Life After Football
Terrell Fletcher is now an ordained Bishop. He is also a Senior Pastor for City of Hope International Church in San Diego, California. He is married to Kavalya Fletcher.

Playing in the NFL
Joining the San Diego Chargers
The San Diego Chargers picked Terrell Fletcher in the 1995 NFL draft. He was the 19th pick in the second round, which was the 51st pick overall. In 1996, he signed a new contract to stay with the Chargers.
In the year 2000, Fletcher was the leading rusher for the Chargers. He ran for 384 yards. He was the last player to lead the Chargers in rushing yards until Mike Tolbert did it in 2010. This was before LaDainian Tomlinson became the team's main runner.
In 2001, the Chargers released Fletcher for a short time. This was to make space for a new player, Tim Dwight. However, Fletcher soon signed a new 4-year contract to return to the team.
Later Career and Achievements
In 2002, Fletcher played in only 10 games. He missed some time because of a sprained ankle. This injury happened in a game against the Denver Broncos. On February 27, 2003, the Chargers released Fletcher again. This helped the team save money.
Fletcher was well-known for his ability to catch passes out of the backfield. He led all Chargers running backs in receptions for five years in a row, from 1996 to 2000. In 1996, he was second on the team with 61 catches. When he left the Chargers, he was 13th in team history for rushing yards (1,871 yards). He was also 9th in team history for receptions (259 catches).

Family Life
Terrell Fletcher was the Senior Pastor of the City of Hope International Church in San Diego, California from March 2012 until June 2023.
In 2007, Fletcher married actress and businesswoman Sheree Zampino. He became the stepfather to her son. The couple later divorced in 2015. In 2018, Fletcher married Kavalya Young. They have three children together: a daughter named Kya, and fraternal twins, a son named Kingston and a daughter named Kory.
