Terrence Dewayne McGee (born October 14, 1980) is a former American football player. He was a cornerback and return specialist in the National Football League (NFL). Terrence played for the Buffalo Bills for many years. He was known for his amazing skills in returning kicks and playing strong defense.

Terrence McGee was a talented football player. He played in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills. He was known for being great at two different jobs on the field. He was a cornerback, which is a defensive player. He was also a return specialist, which means he was excellent at running back kickoffs and punts.
Early Life and College Days
Terrence McGee grew up in Athens, Texas. He lived there with his mother and brother. When he wasn't playing football, Terrence enjoyed drawing with charcoal.
He went to Northwestern State University for college. He played football for the Northwestern State Demons for four years. In his first year, he played a little bit as a cornerback. The next year, he started returning punts. He was so good that he set a record! He averaged 23.7 yards per return. He also scored three touchdowns that year. This earned him "All-America" honors.
As the Demons made it to the playoffs twice, Terrence became one of the best cornerbacks. In his last year, he even played as a safety and a receiver. During his college career, he broke up 44 passes. He also caught 11 interceptions.
Playing in the NFL
The Buffalo Bills picked Terrence McGee in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL draft. This meant he was chosen as the 111th player overall. In his first year, he played part-time. He caught two interceptions and caused one fumble.
In 2004, Terrence became a starting cornerback. He had an incredible season. He returned three kickoffs for touchdowns! The Buffalo Bills set an NFL record that year. They had six kick return touchdowns as a team.
On Christmas Eve in 2005, Terrence made history. He scored two different types of touchdowns in one game. He scored on an interception return and a kick return. This was a first for any player! In 2006, he ran a fumble back for another touchdown.
Terrence showed his speed again in 2007. During a Monday Night game, he returned a kickoff 103 yards for a touchdown. This was a very long run!
He signed a new contract with the Bills in 2009. However, he had some injuries after that. On February 14, 2013, the Bills released him. Terrence decided to retire from football soon after. He played in 122 games during his career. He started 90 of those games. He still holds many records for the Buffalo Bills team. He was chosen for the Pro Bowl once. He was also named an All-Pro player twice.
