Terrill Shaw is a former American football player who was born on February 4, 1976. He played as a wide receiver, which means he was a player who caught passes from the quarterback. Terrill played for nine seasons in the Arena Football League (AFL) for several teams. These teams included the Buffalo Destroyers, Grand Rapids Rampage, and Tampa Bay Storm.
He also played college football at the University of Southern Mississippi. A big moment in his career was being named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of ArenaBowl XV. Terrill also spent some time with teams in the National Football League (NFL), like the Kansas City Chiefs.

Early Life and College Football
Terrill Shaw was born in Jackson, Mississippi. He went to Magee High School in Magee, Mississippi. It's interesting to know that he didn't start playing football until his last year of high school.
After high school, Terrill played college football for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. This team is part of the University of Southern Mississippi.
Professional Football Career
Terrill Shaw started his professional career in the year 2000. He played for the Buffalo Destroyers in the Arena Football League (AFL). In April 2001, he moved to the Grand Rapids Rampage.
ArenaBowl XV MVP
Terrill had an amazing game in ArenaBowl XV. This was the championship game for the Arena Football League. On August 19, 2001, the Rampage played against the Nashville Kats. Terrill caught 12 passes, gained 172 receiving yards, and scored five touchdowns! His incredible performance helped the Rampage win the game 62–42. Because of how well he played, he was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of ArenaBowl XV.
Time in the NFL
In January 2002, Terrill Shaw signed with the Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL. He was then sent to play for the Berlin Thunder in NFL Europe. After a few months, he left the Thunder and chose to end his contract with the Chiefs.
He then went back to play for the Grand Rapids Rampage for the 2002 and 2003 seasons. In June 2003, he signed with another NFL team, the New Orleans Saints. However, he was released by the Saints in August 2003.
Later AFL Teams
After his time with the Saints, Terrill continued his career in the Arena Football League. He played for the Las Vegas Gladiators in 2004. Then, he joined the Philadelphia Soul and played for them in 2004 and 2005.
From 2005 to 2006, Terrill played for the Dallas Desperados. His last team was the Tampa Bay Storm, where he played from 2006 until 2008.
Personal Life
Terrill Shaw has a brother named Harold. Harold also played football professionally. They even played on the same team, the Grand Rapids Rampage, from 2001 to 2002.
