The Baby-Sitters Club is a fun American TV show. It's a comedy-drama series made by Rachel Shukert. The show is based on the popular children's books by Ann M. Martin. It first came out on Netflix on July 3, 2020. In October 2020, the show was renewed for a second season.

What's the Story?

The series is about five middle-school friends. They live in a town called Stoneybrook, Connecticut. These friends decide to start their own babysitting business. The show follows their adventures and how they grow closer as friends.

  • Sophie Grace plays Kristy Thomas. She is the president of the club. Kristy often speaks up for what is right and cares about fairness.
  • Momona Tamada plays Claudia Kishi. She is the club's vice president. Claudia loves all kinds of art. She is Japanese American but did not learn to speak Japanese.
  • Shay Rudolph plays Stacey McGill. She is the club's treasurer. Stacey is from the Upper West Side of Manhattan. She has diabetes.
  • Malia Baker plays Mary Anne Spier. She is the shy secretary of the club and Kristy's best friend. Mary Anne is shown as biracial in this series. She lost her mother when she was very young and has a very protective father.
