The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Movie is a fun animated film from 1979. It brings together some of the best classic Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons, all hosted by the famous Bugs Bunny himself! This movie was made to celebrate Bugs Bunny's 40th anniversary.
In the film, Bugs Bunny shows us around his cool home, which is built over a carrot-juice waterfall. He introduces us to many of his wild adventures and famous rivals from the cartoons. All the cartoon shorts featured in this movie were directed by Chuck Jones.
This movie helped create a pattern for how future Looney Tunes films would be made. They would combine old cartoon clips with new animated parts, just like this one did, up until Daffy Duck's Quackbusters in 1988.
The film was dedicated to the memory of Chuck Jones' first wife, Dorothy Webster, who passed away before the movie was released.

What the Movie is About
Bugs Bunny takes you on a tour of his amazing house. As he shows you around, he talks about some of the most famous rivalries and chases from the Looney Tunes cartoons. These stories lead into clips from the classic animated shorts.
The last part of the movie is a long, exciting chase between Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner.
The film also has a funny new twist on the famous "That's all, Folks!" ending. At the very beginning, an annoyed Bugs Bunny adds "NOT" to it, so it says "That's NOT all, Folks!". Then, before the end credits, Bugs makes it change to "That's not quite all, Folks!". Finally, after all the credits, it appears as "That's really all, Folks!".
