The Gary Coleman Show was a fun Saturday morning cartoon that aired on NBC in 1982. This animated series was made by Hanna-Barbera Productions, a famous animation studio. The show starred the voice of Gary Coleman, who was a very popular actor at the time.
In the cartoon, Gary Coleman voiced a character named Andy LeBeau. Andy was a young, apprentice angel who was sent back to Earth. His mission was to help different kids with their problems so he could earn his angel wings.
What the Show Was About
The main character, Andy LeBeau, first appeared in a TV movie called The Kid with the Broken Halo in 1982. The Gary Coleman Show was a spin-off from that movie.
In each episode, Andy would get a new assignment. His supervisor, another angel named Angelica, would send him to help a child who needed it. Andy's job was to solve their problems and make things right.
But it wasn't always easy! There was a tricky character named Hornswoggle. He was the bad guy who tried to mess up Andy's missions. Hornswoggle would try to get Andy to make bad choices or just make things more complicated. Andy always had to figure out how to fix his mistakes and stop Hornswoggle's plans.
